How to Increase Internet Speed using Google Public DNS?
It is called as Domain Name Server, let's learn through example, what is this?
When you type an address like www.google.com in your browser address bar, the computer doesn't know where google.com points to and it asks the DNS server.
The job of a DNS server is to translate this human-readable web address like www.google.com into a computer-readable number also called as IP address (http://74.125.224.72/). Once your computer knows the IP location of a domain name(in this case google.com), it opens the website in your browser.
Everytime,we connect to the website ,requests goes to DNS ,In most cases, our ISP provides DNS addresses that we put into browser network settings or in Router.
Drawbacks of Using ISP DNS
Our Internet Service Provider specifies the DNS Server address that we key into the browser network settings or the router.
What if Your ISP DNS works slow,We get slow internet connection and sometimes many sites will not open .
To remove these and increase our Internet speed ,we use Google public DNS that is the fastest one .We need to put the DNS in our Network connections or Router settings page.
