How to fit performance brake lines

This step-by-step video shows you how to replace ageing brakes lines with a set of high performance lines for increased braking power.

While older bikes are still great fun one of the easiest ways of improving real world performance and safety is by fitting a set of braided brake hoses and replacing the brake fluid.

Old brake lines lose the strength in the walls of the brake lines and old brake fluid absorbs water and reduces the ability of the fluid to work when hot.

This video guide takes you through all of the steps from removing the old brake fluid, taking off the old lines and replacing them with new ones. It also covers bleeding the brake system to get rid of any trapped air.

Changing brake lines may cause some people to worry but it's a simple process that requires hardly any tools and just takes some patience to get right.
