How to Enable Dark Mode for Applications on Kali Linux 2019.2?

Step 1: Click on 'show applications' in dock.

Step 2: Search for 'gnome tweaks' tool, click on it to open it.

Step 3: Click on 'Appearance'.

step 4: Click on drop down next to, Applications.

Step 5: You can select any from the two options, kali-x dark or Adwaita-dark. After you done, close the tweaks tool.
