How To Do Self Drive In a Tesla
2 Views • Aug 25, 2023
Description
A cutting-edge driving assistance system called autopilot helps your car navigate, accelerate, and brake for other cars and pedestrians in its lane. Along with features like emergency braking, collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring, it helps with the most taxing aspects of driving.
You will have access to a variety of more sophisticated driver assistance capabilities with Full Self-Driving (FSD) capability. These features are intended to give you more active guidance and supported driving while still operating under your direct control.
You can subscribe to FSD capabilities from the Tesla app or your car's touchscreen if you haven't already done so and your vehicle has an FSD computer 3.0 or higher.
Eligibility
You can subscribe to FSD capabilities if your car has Full Self-Driving Computer 3.0 or higher, Basic Autopilot, or Enhanced Autopilot. Using the touchscreen in your car, go to "Controls" > "Software" > "Additional Vehicle Information" to view your Autopilot configuration. By choosing "Vehicle" > "Specs & Warranty" on the Tesla app, you can also check your settings.
Subscriptions for the Full Self-Driving capability do not include hardware upgrades for the Full Self-Driving computer. The FSD computer needs to be installed in your car in order for you to be eligible for FSD capabilities subscriptions. Make an installation appointment through the Tesla app to install the FSD computer.
