How to Do a Fishtail Ponytail Braid

The fishtail ponytail braid is a simple hairstyle that can be dressed up or down. But, what we love most about this style is that it can be done in 5 minutes or less.

We begin by detangling her curly hair with water and leave-in conditioner. Once Princess's curls are free from knots, we add a little coconut oil to seal in the moisture.

The oil mixed with the conditioner also allows for slip, making it much easier to manipulate her hair.

Then we add a hair-tie or scrunchie before beginning the fishtail braid.
It may look like a complicated hairstyle, but it's very easy to do.

Start by dividing the hair into two sections and separate small pieces on either side to create a criss cross pattern in the front. The video makes it much easier to see.
