A new, tricky phishing scam has been making the rounds throughout the Internet as of late and our friends at KnowBe4 have released a special bulletin warning their customers about this scam.
Essentially, you may receive an email that appears to be from a trusted business that you may do business with, or even work for. Within the email, a claim is made indicating that you're either being sued or at risk of being sued for spamming the company.
By clicking the link, you can find out more about the action and see the supposed spam that you've been sending. Unfortunately, this email is all part of a greater social engineering scam to convince you to willingly click on a malicious link.
Please take a moment to pass this video along to coworkers, friends, and family so they don't fall victim to this potentially harmful scam.
