How SA can avoid COVID-19 third wave

There was concern from some quarters, that the restrictions announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa last night aren't strong enough. Professor Túlio de Oliveira, Director of the KZN Research Innovation and Sequencing Platform, took to Twitter saying he thought restrictions were low despite the fast growing third wave. He says he hopes all South Africans can control themselves or we could see tougher restrictions in a week or so. Prof de Oliveira did however say that it could be possible to "surf the third wave" in South Africa, if we can ramp up our vaccination drive. Courtesy #DStv403
