How Does Foreclosure Work?

http://www.Foreclosures-Help.com My mother just received notification from the bank that she is going to have her house foreclosed on. So I told her that I would look into it and try to help her out, but how does foreclosure work exactly? I really don't know and neither does she. So I am looking into foreclosures and how they work and if there is some sort of funding or help that we can get so this doesn't happen. My mother has lived in this home for half of her life and I can't sit back and do nothing while it is taken from her.
