How Do You Make a Decision?

What's the difference between decision theory and game theory? Decision theory involves making choices based on the variables that the Universe might throw your way — such as planning a picnic around days that have, in the past, proven to be rainy. You try and make a prediction that takes variables into account to give you the best chance at success. Game theory is similar in the way that you're trying to predict a desired result and work toward achieving it, but the difference is that you're pitted against another person (or reasoning being — not all people are reasonable) who is trying to drive the result to meet their needs and desires.
