HOW DO YOU INSERT AN ELECTRONIC CHIP IN A HARNESS ?
To use the traceability services by RFID you must have :
- Downloaded and installed the Beal management software
- The Beal RFID chip reader
- A stock of Beal rope or harness RFID chips
- A syringe to insert the chip into ropes, and if harnesses do not have pockets for chips, a wire
to fix it underneath.
Inserting a chip in a harness
- If your harness is fitted with a pocket, simply slide the RFID chip into it then record the chip
in order to link it to the product sheet that you will have previously created
- If your harness doesn’t have a pocket, thread the chip onto the Beal wire provided for this,
lock it at the desired length by turning the key until it breaks.
