House Boat formed after the disbanding of popular, New York based pop-punk band The Steinways and New Jersey's The Ergs. Comprised of members from both bands, along with members of other bands (including national touring act Off With Their Heads), House Boat has improvised almost every live performance to account for absent members that are currently touring with other acts.
Despite the inconsistent line-up, House Boat has managed to release two albums with their current line-up (The Delaware Octopus and Processing Complaints) with a third on its way-- scheduled for a 2011 release.
Watch for their short winter tour in the beginning of December 2010.
