Watch as a hot air balloon makes a rough landing, strikes a parked car, and then lifts back into the air.

Katlyn Thibodeaux captured the dramatic incident in Longview, Texas, USA. The video shows the balloon struggling in windy conditions as it descends toward the ground.

As it touches down, a gust of wind appears to push the balloon off course, causing the basket to crash into a vehicle. Onlookers react in shock as the balloon drags along the ground following the impact.

Moments later, the balloon catches the wind once again and rises back into the air, leaving spectators stunned by the unusual sequence of events.
