It is fun to take trips to many places
To see the many sights and various faces
But a trip to the moon is not for me
I'd rather stay home and sip hot tea.
I can see the stars and beautiful sky
And Watch the clouds as they float by.
But a trip to the moon, I cannot see
I think I would rather be stung by a bee.
I can swim, skate, even bat a ball.
I can run jump, or climb a wall
But a trip to the moon, well, let it be
I'll just stay home and climb a tree.
