Homs reduced to rubble

Under fire in Homs. Explosions rocked the Syrian city on Sunday as the military racheted up its attacks on the rebel stronghold which after two years of fighting --- looks like mounds of rubble according to this latest video posted to a social media website whose content Reuters cannot indepdently verify.

Rebels could be searching for victims and one man rushed an injured child from the scene. Opposition fighters have struggled in recent weeks following President Bash al Assad's victory in Qusair --- Many of them are well aware that a lose in a city so closely tied with rebellion could deal a mortal blow to their cause.
