Homemade Mayonnaise
Description
Make a Video Presentation on making a Mayonnaise and Sandwich.
Activity 1 (Making a homemade mayonnaise)
Mayonnaise Recipe
Ingredients:
1 piece egg yolk
½ tsp. mustard
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. water
150ml salad oil/ canola oil
Pinch of Salt taste
Procedure:
• In a stainless bowl, combine the egg yolks, mustard and water
• Beat well with a wire whisk
• Gradually add oil (1/2 Table Spoon) while whisking
• When the mixtures become creamy, add a little bit of oil then whisk again. Continue this step until all the oil is used
• When all the oil is used, add the vinegar to the mixture
• Season with salt
