Baked Donut Recipe \r

1. Preheat oven 400 degrees.\r
2. Grease Donut Pans well.\r
3. Mix dry ingredients together 2 cups cake flour 2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon gound nutmeg 1 teaspoon salt\r
4. Mix wet ingredients together 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup buttermilk 2 large eggs 2 Tablespoon butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extr\r
5. Combine wet and dry ingredients together, mixing well.\r
6. Fill batter in greased donut pans 1/2 way.\r
7. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 7-9 minutes.\r
8. Prepare glazes of your choice. We chose chocolate glaze and powdered sugar\r
9. Dip in glazes or sugar and decorate.\r

Melt 3/4 cup chocolate chips, 1 teaspoon Karo syrup, 1 Tablespoon butter, 1 teaspoon water in microwaveable bowl in microwave for 20 second intervals, two times. Mix well.\r

***Overall this baked donut recipe was okay. The chocolate glaze and powdered sugar toppings really made this recipe great! Still searching for a great tasting baked donut recipe. ***The donut express pans is okay. It is amazing how if its shaped like a donut it somehow taste better. Although not exly like a deep fried donut!\r
