Home & Garden 'Get U Down'
3 Views • Feb 21, 2019
Description
Songs From The Last Days of Sanity sees more kooky business courtesy of Chicago crew member Tim Schumaker and friends. 'Get U Down' has the straightest house stylings of these heavily 80's influenced tracks, betraying obvious Prince referencing keys and synth stabs, and a weighty disco bass line underpins various wandering synth manoeuvres laced with a p-funk strut. 'Sexuality' has an electro / home listening vibe to it with similar camp musicality, while the Beats and Scat mix of 'Parliament' demonstrate Diz's handy talent for tough edged grunting over a hefty 4/4 drum track.
