HOLLEY MAHER - WRECKING BALL (BalconyTV)
Description
http://www.balconytv.com
BROUGHT TO YOU IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE RHYTHM BUILDING at MUSIC ROW in NASHVILLE TENNESSEE and THERECORDSHOPNASHVILLE.COM
There once was a little girl who was born in big, bad Jersey. Her parents named her Holley after her grandfather (who didn't carry the name nearly as well as she did), and people liked to joke about hanging her on their doors around Christmastime. As a child, she liked to dress up in tutus and boss people around.
She aged a bit, wore tutus more often than the average bear, and bossed people hardly ever. When she wasn't pirouette-ing and grande jete-ing, she was tooling around with art, acting, singing and song writing.
She aged some more and decided to start looking at colleges. She ended up in a fairy tale land called Nashville and earned her degree in Commercial Voice and Music Business. She got a job as a graphic designer at a record label. It wasn't long before her boss overheard her singing in her cubicle and wrote up a contract right away. She immediately got to work writing and recording her debut album, as well as designing her album art. Her first album was greeted with joyful cheers nationwide. Not only were her paintings and collages admired by glittering eyes from lands far and wide, but her melodies reverberated in the ears of music lovers everywhere. She was recognized as the newest indie-pop artist on the Nashville scene, but with a unique vision that set her apart from her peers. Holley was hailed as a "visionary of girlish whimsey" and "the fairy goddess of indie song styles." She conquered the airwaves and then set her sights on the planet, bringing art and music to people in need, changing the world one flight of fancy at a time.
That could be true...someday.
