HMS Black Swan

HMS Black Swan was a Royal Navy sloop designed for convoy escort duties.
Displacing 1250 tons it had a length of 91.29 m, Beam of 11.43 m and a Draught of 3.4 m.
Speed was 19 knots and it's maximum range was 7500 nautical miles at 12 knots.
Initial armament would consist of 6 × 4-inch AA guns (3 × 2) and 0.5-inch AA guns in a quadruple mount. Later the 0.5 AA guns would be replaced with 2 pdr pom-pom guns in a quadruple mount.
Service record includes British Pacific Fleet (1945), Battle of the Atlantic (1943) and the Yangtze Incident (1949).
It's credits also include the sinking of U-124 (2 April 1943).
