This Friday we welcome Hito into The Lab LDN to lay down an hour of deep and captivating grooves. The Japanese artist has been residing in Berlin since 1999, where she has risen to prominence as a selector adept at crafting sleek vinyl-only sets, while always dressed resplendently in a kimino. Hito’s got style, as the capsule fashion collection she’s just launched in collaboraton with Italian label Numero 00 highlights.

Richie Hawtin is a figure who has been particularly impressed with Hito, taking her on as his protégé and locking her in for a residency at his globe-spanning ENTER party, which she has held for the past eight years. This Friday night both artists will head to Shoreditch spot Village Underground to perform at the ENTER.Sake party, and beforehand Hito will be showing us what she can do in The Lab. This one is unmissable.
