Hishammuddin: Govt planning to replace aging Hawk light combat jets

Senior Minister (Defence) Hishammuddin Hussein told parliament today that the government is planning to replace the aging fleet of Hawk 108 and 208 light combat aircrafts used by the Royal Malaysian Air Force.
He said government has already began the process of identifying new Fighter-Lead In Trainer (FLIT) – Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) via an open tender.
