Hifi Sean delivers once again with a classic piece of contemporary soulful song writing and production, this time with a debut on Glitterbox Recordings. Like his earlier single ‘The Music’ featuring Celeda, ‘Lost without U’ was recorded between Chicago and London, this time with Inner City vocal legend Paris Grey. Taking a different approach with arrangements using entirely live instrumentation, ‘Lost without U’ is a modern take on styles influenced by the likes of Norman Whitfield and Burt Bacharach. This love song is a bittersweet soul lament for the end of a long hot summer.
