Heron Casually Surfs on a Hippo

John White saw this unusual incident back in 2012 while on safari in Kruger National Park. While looking out over a lake in the park, John saw a heron seemingly gliding over the surface of the water. As we watch on however, all becomes clear. The fearless bird is perched on the back of a hippo, nonchalantly fishing as his unwitting chauffeur navigates the waters. Credit: YouTube/Tracking the Wild
