Description

On New Year's Eve 2020 I was driving to a friend's house. When I took a left, I collided with another car. My initial thought was I would be blamed for the accident since I was taking a left. However, after reviewing my dashcam footage, I realized the other car had no headlights! It was also a black car which made it very hard to see at night. I also saw that I had waited for two other cars with headlights on to pass before I started my turn. Because I was looking into their headlights, my night vision was not good. Because I saw no other car coming down the street, I naturally switched my vision to where I was going, the side street in front of me.
