Description

Behind the wall, which was veneer
he hid, while guzzling much beer.
His funds had run, in April, dry
however he was never shy
to take from what the communists
declared 'at large', as they insist
that we all own what's yours or mine
to help yourself - it is just fine.
The kettle soon blew off its lid
but you, what did you do, you hid,
if honour ever graced your mind
why did you shoot me from behind?
We all have ways to deal with strife,
it is a normal part of life
but I, for one, in this fiasco
feel like the bottle of Tabasco
well used but meaningless as such
disposable and worth not much.
Perhaps I'll swim Calais to Dover,
an endless ocean to get over.
