Herbert Nehrlich - Falling Drop

Descending from the very top
an elongated, liquid drop
gained speed and landed with a 'pop'-
it must have reached its final stop.

Its aim had been, it must be said,
to launch its fortunes from her head
fall into cleavage (like a bed)
but softness always gets you dead.
