Herbert Nehrlich 2 - Rain

For Chrissake, twas in the middle of the street,
rain now was dampening the bloody noise
of cars and ugly buses filled with tired men,
and there was hope, as well as deep despair,
the real threat of one communication breakdown,
and rapid fire words and sighs not understood,
a towel would have been Godsent, to wipe a face
but other thoughts came tumbling...yes he would.
