The Moon was happy,
grinning cheek to yellow cheek
the image of an Emmenthal,
our basket rose
through puffs of smoke
and flames of devil's blue,
a wicked wicker home
of silence
and nocturnal pheromones,
I said it would be fine
to have our wicked ways,
that we would see
essential trivia
through the kind
illumination
of a peeping Moon.
