Personally I'd like you to leave me be
There's not much between you and me
But what there is is tired and old
Your twisted nose your eyes so cold

We used to sleep together yes we were close
Our stories rendered you verbose
Sometimes I felt so cuddled and cosy
But now my thoughts just make you nosy

I saw you yesterday on the settee
I think maybe you're better free
You're so dissolute and scruffy
You're golden hair now flat not fluffy

I think its time my mature years
dispensed with childish loving tears
I have important grown up care
After all you're just a teddy bear
