Next to having an excellent jazz band the Carling family also worked vaudeville acts in their shows. Gerd would come in as an fully dressed old lady and climb in some kind of narrowing tube, like a chimney while folding herself double, and eventually come out from the top in a bathing outfit. Brother Max would play the violin while doing a high wire act, etc. Ulf would do a drum act.
