Hell Town (John Wayne)

1937 directed by Charles Barton starring John Wayne, Marsha Hunt, Johnny Mack Brown, John Patterson, Monte Blue and Lucien Littlefield. Passing on a job offered to him by his cousin, Tom, The Duke, (as Dare Rudd) changes his mind when he catches a whiff of Tom’s love-interest. He takes the job, hoping to cuzzy-up to his new ideal in a woman, and soon becomes involved with seedy individuals. From a story by Zane Grey. Also known as Born to the West.
