HELEN.J WILLIAMS - Wreckless Moment

He was seventeen & doing well,
But one reckless moment condemned him to hell.
He thought he was cool - he wanted to be free,
The car he, d worked hard for just waiting for his P's.
He didn't think about the slippery wet conditions,
When he lost control & put himself in this position.
As he rounded the corner not far from home,
The car slid out, he could never have known,
Now he, s left with a debt & a huge lone.
No - one was hurt when he hit the other cars,
just a mangled wreck as he hit the wet tar.
Not a thought for the other drivers
as he sped down the street,
He was shocked & in panic now the police he must meet.
Fine after fine & in debt to the hilt,
Goodbye to the bank balance that he had built.
At seventeen a hard lesson to learn,
But truth & honesty was my only concern.
He had to pay for the decision he made,
Now he, ll be left with nothing till his debts are paid..
