Waiting
Waiting for that day to come
The day that I'm free
The day where I can run in a field of flowers
Because I know that I alone and won't be hurt
But the day hasn't come

Waiting
Waiting for that time
Waiting for the time where I can break free
To break free of my life
To shed my skin
But that time hasn't come

Waiting
Waiting for the rain to fall
Waiting for the rain to know that he loves me
That he is the first drip of rain
The one and only
The one who will hold and protect me
But the rain hasn't fell

Waiting for all these things is like waiting
For the people in war to stop dying
Like waiting for snow in the Desert
It will never happen
