Heavy rainstorm causes flash floods in eastern China

A heavy rainstorm brought flash floods to eastern China's Anhui Province on Thursday (June 28).

In the clip, captured in Bengbu City, a speedboat carries people through floodwaters as a man cycles on a submerged street

A packed bus can be seen driving in the floods and a man even uses a fishing rod to catch a fish in the water at the back garden of his house.

A woman can be heard joking, 'If you want to go fishing, you do not have to go here and there, just come to the back garden of my house'.

Later in the clip, a pig swims in the basement of a flooded house.

According to reports, the daily precipitation has exceeded its historical maximum.
