Heavy rains flood Cambodia

STORY: Heavy rains lashed Cambodia's provincial town of Siem Reap on Monday (September 12), bringing more misery to residents.
At least four districts have been flooded since Saturday (September 10) after heavy rains along the Thai border.
There have been no reports of casualties or severe damage to infrastructure or rice fields but residents say life won't return to normal if water levels remain high.
"All this water from flooding and from the rain, I have no customers in my shop," said Sun Tang, a resident.
A temporary ban of heavy loaded transport was imposed to avoid damage in the flooded area.

The flood waters in some part of town are up to one metre high, according to residents and local authorities.
The area last suffered severe flooding in 2009.
