Heath Gunn - Harmony, a Tranquil State

Harmony, a tranquil state,
a state of love and care.
Where many people want to go,
but so few people dare.
Of hands across the oceans,
lands devoid of war.
Where peaceful nations all help out,
and no stretch is too far.

For this tranquil state of harmony,
is one for which we strive.
But 'cus of 'human nature',
we won't see it in our lives.

We're all too self destructive,
and focussed on 'our needs'
While third world countries crumble,
are brought down to their knees.

So for me this small word harmony,
is oh so far away.
But for children of the future,
it may just come their way.
