Description

A la tête d'une bande formée d'amis de longue date et d'une nouvelle recrue, Waingro, Neil McCauley attaque un fourgon blindé pour s'emparer d'une somme importante en obligations. Cependant, Waingro perd son sang-froid et abat les trois convoyeurs. Neil décide de l'éliminer, mais il parvient à s'échapper. Pendant ce temps, le lieutenant Vincent Hanna mène l'enquête. Commence alors un bras de fer entre le flic et le bandit, empreint d'admiration mutuelle.
