Heart Earrings

Lenticular designs appear in many products, from greeting cards to bookmarks, from toys to books. However it is unusual to see lenticular designs incorporated into jewellery.

These lenticular earrings have a heart shape, and the design is also heart shaped. As you turn them to and fro, a little red heart appears which grows until it fills the whole heart. As you turn it the other way, the lenticular heart gets smaller again.

It is maybe slightly odd that the brand, Carmine, appears on the back. I might have been better for each earring to have two heart designs back to back, so that the effect would work whichever side you looked from. But a nice idea.
