Health workers' PPE concerns

Acting Gauteng Health MEC Jacob Mamabolo says he has found substandard protective gear in some warehouses. He visited healthcare facilities in the province, meeting unions and managers. Some health workers say because they are not working in COVID-19 wards they are not given proper equipment. They claim the department is putting their lives at risk. Mamabolo says his department is looking into the matter.
