ISLAMABAD: Sniffing plan for pre-poll rigging in the upcoming elections, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif says the ‘current situation’ doesn’t merit free and transparent polls in the country.

Talking to mediamen outside the Accountability Court here, Sharif said all political parties should be given a level playing field for ensuring free, fair and transparent elections in the country.
