Didier Haudepin , born August 15 1951, was a famous young French actor of the sixties :
He was Alexandre Motier in 'This special friendship' (novel by Roger Peyrefitte) which depicts a catholic boarding school in 1920 where a 12-y.o. schoolboy is loved by an older pupil ...and a priest and commits suicide in the end when he understands he will be separated from his friend on the following year(1964).
But he was David Coperfield as a child, too, on Tv (1965) and in a lot of movies and Tv series as a child, teen and then adult actor, Director, producer, writer etc...Check out his IMDb page :

Most of the clips here are taken from 'Les pianos mécaniques' aka 'The Player Pianos', aka 'The Uninhibited' where he was Daniel Régnier (1965). The interview is by François Chalais on the French Tv, during the 1965 Cannes Festival. Sorry that it is only in French.Didier tells us that he only shoots movies during school breaks , is in grade 8 at 13, dislikes Maths and only enjoys Letters, Latin and Greek.
