Hayman and Starmer speak after ‘constructive’ Brexit talks
Description
Labour’s Sue Hayman described Monday’s cross-party Brexit talks with the representatives from the Conservative government as “positive” and “constructive”. The Shadow Environment Secretary said she believed the government was open to “moving forward” in the Labour Party’s direction. Shadow Brexit Secretary Sir Keir Starmer refused to be drawn on whether he wanted his party to campaign on a confirmatory referendum ahead of May’s EU elections. Report by Blairm.
