Hayley Gilmore - All I have left

Do you remember when our eyes first met in sincere emptiness and no regret?
Do you recall the first smile that we shared and how both our hearts were unprepared?
It seems that my dreams and schemes for us have all vanished with the gusts of dust,
but I still remember it all and all that we had shared.
With visits to my memories through various music sheets and camping under trees, my hair bleached gold and important secrets untold.
All I have left to feel and say is gone, but to say it's wrong and to think my heart you would steal..
Recall the past, simply recall the laughs, and remember the force of a lover's grasp.
For infatuation would never let us clasp this happiness too long.
Recall how we now share silence and when I told you how I felt- in a different way this could have been dealt.
I'd ask you to recall it all and to not let go, never give in to the lies of all that has died now and what we could never be.
Remember you, remember me, remember love's a mystery, remember what you must of us but please remember now.
