Kent County Council have launched an inquiry into loneliness and its effect on people's health.

It comes as new research shows young people are more likely to experience isolation than older generations.

The Office for National Statistics found that 10% of 16 to 24 year olds 'always or often' feel loneliness, the highest of any age groups.
