I had cautioned
And mentioned
Forcefully in words
To think and then move onwards

You were adamant
And insisted on present
Love feelings
I was still unwilling

You were down with love fever
I said yes to it forever
But I wanted to give you full time
To take and think for some more time

I had told often
And reiterate even
"I shall stand by you all the way"
You plan to come and stay

You were still dreaming
And not at all believing
I made it clear
To have no more fears
