Let us pray sincerely
To show affection brotherly
And for the plight
Of people with sleepless nights

The people of Iraq face slaughter
I do not what the people are after
The world watches with gloomy face
There is certainly mad chase

Two sects of same religion
Fighting for supremacy in region
People are mercilessly killed
Who knows how many might have been jailed

It is simple butchering
There is no peace offering
Arms and ammunition is plenty
But no words of solace with mercy

How long this will continue?
Let idealists write and view
There is no end to misery
People already suffer poverty

Let us raise our hands
For mercy not to force dead end
Let them breathe and live peacefully
We wish them happy life tearfully
