Has Brad Stevens Lost the Celtics?

Boston Herald Celtics writer Mark Murphy joined Celtics Beat to back Gary Washburn's scathing assessment of Boston's coach Brad Stevens. Murphy believes Stevens' game plans haven't worked on offense or defense, while not allowing the Celtics to break scoring runs against them. Danny Ainge said Stevens doesn't need to be a motivator on Thursday, but Murphy feels the sense that the players have tuned Stevens out some and relied on isolation without communication on defense.
