The world around, has closed on me,
Confining me, within life and death.
The days of my freedom, have passed away,
leaving me naught but;
the bare walls of my cell,
which today is my new home,
tomorrow - My Grave.

The years have passed by,
with no love or care,
naught but only
hate and pain.

And now, I lie on my deathbed,
recalling my days of freedom,
with a loving family,
and caring friends.

And how I repent, the day
I left, their love and care,
on a journey of lust and greed,
to a place unknown,
A place filled with hate and pain;
A place of betrayal and vendettas;

How I wish today,
I never had gone,
on that voyage

For the care I needed - was never there;
The love I sought - was elsewhere.
