Harpreet is an independent musician, with an excellent repertoire. He composes his own songs and music and includes the writings of various poets, like Suryakant Tripathi ‘Nirala’, Baba Bulleh Shah, Faiz Ahmad Faiz, Pash, Varun Grover and many more.

He hopes to bring back the languages to the current generation in a more contemporary way. Harpreet has been a part of some of the country’s most prestigious festivals/stages like Jaipur Literature Festival, Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Sangeet Natak Academy - Chandigarh and Lucknow, Kalaa Ustavam- Singapore, The sacred Festival-Pushkar etc.
