Entangle me
in things softly spoken
in words wisely chosen
remember the confession made
while the desire was closing in
remember as the bud bursts into bloom
and we became the fallen
and remember if you will
the brushstroke of bodies
as a portrait is laid to canvas
the moment you scream
the clouds above are pealed away
so that the angels may view real art
a love that dare not speak its name
a deception that will never be to us
what it was in memory
but that doesn't stop it from existing
yet you unfurl yourself from our canvas
while the paint is still dripping...

you've broken my heart.
